“Lloret is a match”, Lloret Turisme’s new promotional tool for professionals in the sector

The project consists of different audiovisuals in 6 languages and segmented for 8 different visitor profiles.

Lloret Turisme has this week launched the promotional pills that make up the “Lloret is a match” project, a new promotional tool designed to provide professionals in Lloret’s tourism sector with material in the languages they need to present the destination’s tourist attractions at the various marketing events they attend throughout the year.

For this reason, and in search of a fun, fresh and original way to present the destination, “Lloret is a match” was inspired by the dating platform Tinder, to convey the message that there is an ideal Lloret for every visitor profile.

The audiovisuals are in six languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, German and Russian, and are divided into 8 different themes according to the type of visitor:

 

  • Nature (@Mindfulness_girl), in which visitors are invited to enjoy Lloret’s natural surroundings, open spaces such as the coastal path and the Santa Clotilde Gardens, and to take part in wellness activities.
  • Culture (@Culture_Seeker), which highlights the municipality’s cultural heritage through places such as the Iberian settlement of Turó Rodó, the Dona Marinera or the indiano heritage, with modernist buildings and the figure of Constantí Ribalaigua and his famous daiquiri.
  • Beaches (@Beach_Lover), with images of all the beaches and coves in Lloret de Mar, offering the possibility of enjoying both urban beaches and wilder, paradisiacal coves.
  • Family (@Familyman), a fun piece that highlights the destination’s family offer for children, teenagers and their families.
  • Gastronomy (@foodielove), which highlights the wide range of local cuisine, from Mediterranean to the cuisine of the americanos, and international.
  • Adults Only (@Solo_Traveller), presented as “a paradise for the senses”, where you can find all kinds of options for the adult public.
  • Events (@Party_Animal), highlighting the endless variety of activities, fairs, popular culture events, concert series and festivals that take place in the city throughout the year.
  • Sports (@Sport_Freak), which presents Lloret de Mar from a sporting point of view, an ideal destination for all kinds of sports.

 

“Lloret is a match” also has its own website, where the promotional capsules can be found in all languages: lloretisamatch.lloretdemar.org. The aim of this material is to facilitate the work of tourism professionals in the area in promoting the wide and varied offer of the destination in the different markets.
