Lloret de Mar Town Council has published the terms and conditions for the presentation of candidatures for the Lloret de Mar Tourism Night Awards to be held on Thursday 26 September, the eve of World Tourism Day, at the Lloret Theatre.

Lloret de Mar Tourism Night is organised by Lloret Turisme and Lloret Town Council’s Department of Economic Promotion and aims to highlight the value of the tourism industry, both professionals and companies and organisations, and to reinforce the pride of belonging of its citizens, the vast majority of whom are directly or indirectly involved in this economic activity. This event was resumed last year, the last edition having been in 2010, with a renewed, fresh and modern format open to everyone. The councillor for tourism, Frederic Guich, remarks that “this event recovers the friendly and human side of tourism and gives visibility to professionals and companies that work every day to offer the best experiences to our visitors with passion and dedication”.
