200 drones will once again light up the sky over Lloret de Mar at the Drone Festival

It will be held on 13 and 14 September and the main new features are the change of time to 9 p.m. and the location, which will be at the northern end of Lloret de Mar beach.

The fourth Lloret Drone Festival will once again light up the city’s sky with 200 drones. The event comes with several new features. The main one is the change of date and time: this year it will be held on 13 and 14 September on Lloret beach at 9pm. The location has also been changed from the southern end to the northern part of the promenade, near the Sardana monument.

The light festival will once again feature 200 drones, which will draw figures in the sky, in a combination of art and technology, accompanied by music that will make the experience more immersive. The show will be put on by the company Flock Drone Art, which will present two shows: “Geometrics” and “4Elements”.

Geometrics

The show on Friday night, 13 September, will be “Geometrics”. It is an avant-garde show that will invite the audience to explore art and geometry through mystical dance and abstract figures. The choreography of lights will be accompanied by a soundtrack that will transmit beauty and mystery and will awaken emotions in all spectators.

4Elements

On Saturday, it will be the turn of the show “4Elements”. On this occasion, the four elements of nature will come into play, with their own poetry. There will be water, with sounds that will convey tranquillity. Secondly, the earth, which will transport the spectators to an environment of vegetation and animals. The most energetic moment will come with the theme of fire, which will be another of the elements. Finally, there will be air, representing the invisible force that brings life and movement.

The councillor for Economic Promotion, Cristina Aymerich, explained that “the change of dates to September is in response to the commitment to offer an attractive event outside the peak tourist season”. She added “there will be two nights with two different shows, the first will focus on geometry while the second will talk about the four elements of nature”.

The Lloret Drone Festival was held for the first time in the city in 2021. A year later, in 2022, it became the first international drone festival in Spain. This year marks the fourth edition, on 13 and 14 September at 9pm on Lloret beach.
