Lloret Turisme has today held a working meeting with the companies that form part of the Lloret Adventure project, created in 2014, at which the 2025 action report and the main strategic lines for 2026 were presented.
Lloret Adventure currently brings together 11 companies specialising in adventure and outdoor sports activities, making it one of the most comprehensive offerings on the Costa Brava for enjoying active experiences in a privileged natural setting. The companies that are part of the project are: Aqua Safari Jet Ski, Bungee Jumping, Catamaran Cruise, Diving La Casa del Mar, DKR Quads, eXperiences Costa Brava, Golf Lloret Pitch & Putt, Kayak Adventure, Lemon Kayak, Omno Park and Water Sports & Jet Ski Fenals.
The Councillor for Tourism, Cristina Aymerich, explained that “the variety of activities and a common working strategy, with a specific action plan, positions Lloret de Mar as a destination that allows you to have active experiences in nature all year round.” As for the actions planned for 2026, Lloret Turisme will continue to promote this product with a strategy based on: the segmentation of target audiences and markets; the creation of valuable content on both online and offline channels; the organisation of familiarisation trips for tour operators and journalists; presence at specialised fairs; or the promotion of digital campaigns and actions with content creators.
Among the highlights for 2026, Lloret Turisme will participate for the first time in the Occ’ygène active tourism fair in Toulouse, one of the main events in the sector in southern France.
According to data from Lloret Turisme‘s tourism intelligence platform, since the pandemic, and in line with changes in travel habits, interest in nature-related tourism offerings remains among the top mentions on social media, representing 13% of visitor interest and ranking among the destination’s most relevant tourism products.
Furthermore, the project is part of a global destination strategy that focuses on quality, sustainability and inclusion, connecting with initiatives such as the Bioscore sustainability certification system or the PROA tourist accessibility project, which add value to the visitor’s experience and reinforce Lloret de Mar‘s positioning as a destination aligned with the main tourism trends.
Active tourism is one of the segments with the greatest potential for growth. With this initiative, the destination continues to advance in tourism diversification, consolidating itself as one of the leading active tourism destinations on the Costa Brava all year round.
